At o’dark hundred on Saturday morning Jason, Ilene, Woody, Trudi, June and I headed to the park. It was already drizzling and cold when we arrived. I checked in and signed away my life . We all gathered in Patrick’s RV to stay dry and warm as long as possible, and talk about our race plan, which admittedly was run to a sub-24 finish if possible. Before we took off I talked with Armando, who’s advice for the day was to “…keep warm and make good decisions.”
