The sun rose early in South Dakota on Saturday morning, lighting up the house by 4:30am. One by one we got up and prepared for the long day ahead. Armando and A1 sent everyone off, while Chip drove A2, Greg, Ilene, Kyle and me to the race start. Pulling into the parking lot, AC/DC’s Back in Black blared from our speakers to announce that the FUR’s had arrived!
