I felt very confident going into the LT 100. Between two great races in the Rockies and a PR at Black Hills, I looked forward to the challenge that Leadville would bring. An added bonus is that I would have a big crew with Armando as the leader. I’ve been running with Sandra since March and she would pace me for an unknown number of miles, while her husband Eric would help crew. My cousin Chris was flying in from DC with his Air Force comrades, James and Dan, who would also run a few miles with me. I was all set for a stellar performance.
